Old Witch's Cottage: Nestled on the southern slopes of Razorback Mountain, this old, run-down cottage was for decades the home of the famous Granny Weatherwax (maysherestinpeace). After that, it was briefly in the possession of Tiffany Aching, the Witch of the Chalk, before she passed it on to Geoffrey Swivel, the boy witch. Since he and his goat are now Royal Lancrastian Ambassadors to the Sto Plains, the cottage stands empty... probably.

The common folk say the cottage is haunted, or possibly cursed, though the witches of Lancre and the country round know that to be nonsense. The place is deeply weird, though, with rumours of everything from strange buzzing noises to overly-attentive birds. And then there is You, the white cat who seems to appear and disappear in the cottage at will.

Witches do not create memorials to each other, and of course - of course - the cottage has been passed on, and is rightfully Geoffrey's now. But... Granny's black cloak still hangs on the back of her chair, as if she's just popped out for a moment and will be back to collect it soon...
